| Detailed Instructions for using PASS |

Requirements
To use PASS, you must first complete an On-Line
Building Permit Application which will generate an IBP # and a Unique ID that will be listed on the last window. Write down the IBP# and Unique ID or print the page.
You will need these two identifiers to make, reschedule or cancel an appointment.
Immediately after an application is completed and scheduling is selected, the two identifiers are transferred to PASS and will allow you to choose a day and time slot in the Appointment Calendar.
If you choose not to make an appointment when you receive your IBP #, you can go to Permit PASS the next time you visit the DPP website, and choose "Make or Reschedule Appointment",
enter your IBP # and Unique ID and choose an appointment time.
Rescheduling an appointment
To make a change to your appointment, you can click on the PASS link at www.honoluludpp.org, then choose the option to "Make or Reschedule Appointment". You will be required to enter your IBP # and Unique ID in order to reschedule an appointment.
To check on an existing appointment, you can click on PASS the next time you visit the DPP website, and choose "Check Appointment", enter your IBP # and Unique ID.
Keep in mind that PASS will allow you to schedule a maximum of two appointments per day.
If you are unable to reschedule, or cancel, your appointment prior to it's scheduled time, or you miss the appointment (ie. no show), the IBP can not be used for another appointment.
You will need to obtain another IBP and schedule an appointment. To use your existing IBP# come to the building permit counter, take a number, and wait for the next available permit counter staff.
