BUILDING PERMIT REPORTS

The following building permit reports are produced by the Department of Planning and Permitting and are only available through our Internet site: (1) Daily Bulletin of Building Permits Issued, (2) Monthly Bulletin of Building Permits Issued, and (3) Calendar and Fiscal Year Bulletin of Building Permits Issued..

The Daily Bulletin is a listing of all building permits issued by DPP for each workday. The report includes the following information: Building permit number, building owner or project name, job site address, tax map key, estimated value of work, occupancy group, planmaker and contractors. Since this information represents a segment of what appears on the building permit application, any further information can be obtained by viewing the complete building permit application in the Data Access Imaging Branch located on the ground floor of the Honolulu Municipal Building. The Daily Bulletin will be created daily and will remain posted for 6 months.

The Monthly Bulletin is a listing of all building permits issued by DPP for each month. The report includes the following information: Total number of permits issued and the accepted valuation, number and value of permits issued by occupancy group, number and value of new buildings by occupancy group, number and value of additions, alterations and repairs by occupancy group. The Monthly Bulletin will be created by the second week of the following month.

The Calendar Year Bulletin is the total of all building permits issued from January to December. The report includes the total number of permits issued and the accepted valuation, number and value of permits issued by occupancy group, number and value of new buildings by occupancy group, number and value of additions, alterations and repairs by occupancy group. The Calendar Year Bulletin will be created by the second week of January.

The Fiscal Year Bulletin is the total of all building permits issued from July to June of the following year. The report includes the total number of permits issued and the accepted valuation, number and value of permits issued by occupancy group, number and value of new buildings by occupancy group, number and value of additions, alterations and repairs by occupancy group. The Fiscal Year Bulletin will be created by the second week of July.
