THE GENERAL PLAN (2002 edition)
The General Plan is intended to be a dynamic document, expressing the aspirations of the residents of Oahu. It sets forth the long-range objectives and policies for the general welfare and, together with the regional development plans, provides a direction and framework to guide the programs and activities of the City and County of Honolulu.

GENERAL PLAN - UPDATE PROGRAM
Oahu 2035: General Plan Focused Update
An update to the Plan is underway. It will look at the critical issues of growth, development, and quality of life that island residents are most concerned about, including regional population, economic health, affordable housing, and sustainability.
